Wool is 100% natural material. Only the finest merino wool, which doesn’t itch, is used for our production. We produce our sweaters only out of Italian yarn, produced by Edoardo Miroglio yarn manufacturer, who is recommended by the Pitti Filati World Fair.

Wool also supports the concept of sustainability and is 100% natural.

Depending on their breed, merino sheep are shorn once to twice a year – so they automatically grow a new coat.

WRINKLE RESISTANT AND EASY TO CARE FOR

Each Merino wool fibre is like a coiled spring that returns to its natural shape after being bent, making Merino wool garments naturaly resistant to wrinkles.

All our Merino wool garments can be machine-washed and dry flat.

Wash at MAX 30°C using “Wool” program. Only the scaly surface structure of the wool fibers is washed, thus protecting the wool from severe shrinkage

Turn the garment inside out to protect the outer surface. Dry away from heat, using a hot iron use steam or low setting.

MOISTURE AND TEMPERATURE REGULATING

Firstly, wool fibers have a naturally rippled structure which allows body heat to be stored in air chambers, thus facilitating optimum insulation in woolen fabrics.

Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibres, that can absorb large quantities of moisture.

Wool can absorb more than 35% of its own weight in moisture (without feeling wet to the touch). If the ambient air is warm, the moisture dries faster, resulting in this refreshing evaporative coolness.

SOFT AND ODOUR RESISTANT

At 18,5 microns (one micron = one-thousandth of a millimeter), the fine wool fibers are so thin that they are well below the human itching threshold of 25 microns. Because the fibers are so soft, they bend when they come into contact with the skin without creating an unpleasant sensation.

Wool has sucha unique structure, that you can get by with just a few items of clothing, even on mountain hikes lasting several days. It even absorbs the odour molecules from sweat, which are only released upon washing.
